Source. State WARN filings as published by the states. California was refreshed November 3, 2026 directly from the California EDD WARN report (through November 2, 2026), New York the same day directly from the NY DOL WARN dashboard (through posted October 30, 2026), and Arizona, Illinois, Missouri, Utah, Maine, Minnesota, West Virginia and Nebraska the same day directly from their state lists; other states reflect the national WARN dataset. Filter. Notice date or layoff effective date on or after September 1, 2026; where a state publishes no layoff date, the filing is listed by notice date and its effective date shows as 'Date not published'. Cleaning. Company names are normalized for grouping (for example, legal suffixes and DBA names are kept in the record but grouped under a cleaned name). Duplicate filings are deduplicated on company, state, location, effective date, and headcount.
What is not shown. Filings with a blank notice date are shown with 'Date not published' — the state did not publish that field. Supplementary filings spotted after the Arkansas, New Hampshire, and Wyoming do not publish company-level WARN lists in the source dataset, so they are absent rather than zero.
Corrections. If a filing is wrong or has been amended, contact us with the state source link and we will correct it and log the change.
